I fell in love with Colorado upon visiting for a friend’s wedding in the summer of 1999. It didn’t take me long to relocate, as by late November of the same year I was a permanent resident. I have lived in: * downtown Denver * Washington Park * Breckenridge * Highlands Ranch * Castle Rock, and * Parker. I have personally bought and sold NINE TIMES times along the way! Having lived in a variety of different areas, I feel that I bring a unique perspective to potential buyers and sellers. I’ve been in your shoes all too many times. From my experience, I can’t tell you there is a “bad place” to live in the Denver Metro area. All areas have their distinct advantages – depending on your immediate and future needs. My Road to Real Estate After obtaining my B.S in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Anotnio, Texas in 1994, for many years I worked in the financial field as an equities trader. I caught the real-estate bug back in 1999 when I made my first purchase in the Denver area. However – and here’s the key – after working with upwards of 10 different agents on a personal basis, I found that I was doing the majority of the analysis. I became passionate about educating myself about the market areas in which I was purchasing – and in finding the best value for my dollar. Convinced that my methods and lessons were successful, I earned my real-estate license in 2007.
